“When you start doing what you really love to do, you’ll never work another
day in your life.”
—BRIAN TRACY
I know the hustle is real and you must make ends meet but
there is more to life than just waking up each day to go through a lifeless hassle.
It is no wonder that many people celebrate the end of the week than they do the
start of the week. We have millions of people going through the lifeless
motions of work each day only to realize they never actually lived their
passions at the end of their lives.
Doing what you love to do is one of the great secrets of
financial success. One of your primary responsibilities in life is to find out
what you really enjoy doing, what you have a natural talent for, and then to
throw your whole heart into doing that particular work very, very well. You will
need to understand that there is a huge difference between simply enjoying a
hobby and turning your passion into a profession. Until your passion begins to
earn you enough money to sustain you, it is only a hobby.
Successful people are those who have found a field where
their natural strengths and abilities are exactly what is required to do the
job and achieve the results desired. You must find a field in which you can be
totally absorbed—a job or area of endeavor that completely fascinates you, that
holds your attention, that is a natural expression of your special talents and
abilities.
When you are doing what you love to do, you seem to have a
continuous flow of excitement, energy, and ideas to do what you do even better.
I love writing and when I start writing I don’t want to stop. I could go for
hours without stopping because I am in my zone however I must turn my passion
for writing into a profession where I get paid for writing then I can spend the
rest of my life doing what I am passionate about while actualizing my financial
goals as well.
Perhaps the greatest responsibility of adult life, when you
are surrounded by so many different choices of occupation and career, is for
you to find out what you really love doing and then dedicate yourself o that
field. And no one else can do this for you. Don’t wait until you retire to
discover your passion and then start living. That will be too late, start
living today. Be passion driven but more importantly choose to turn your
passion into a profession.
Very true
